9x9 Cubelife Residence

In the Mathematics of the ideal villa by Colin Rowe, he mentioned that beauty comes from natural and customary. The comparison in the essay of two different styles of villa studied how the two buildings are similar in design move that came close to the ideal archetype of an ideal villa. The End result of my own ideal villa consists of elements from both precedent studies, the symmetry principle, and the thought of user experience, that allows distinguishing the public and private spaces in the villa. Inspired by Le Corbusier, the walls on each floor act as supports, allowing the flexibility of a free plan. The cut-away spaces become Voids that correspond to different green spaces. Encouraging the blend of interior and outdoor spaces. The two villas are Palladio’s Villa Foscari, also known as La Malcontenta, built by Andrea Palladio in 1559, and the second is Villa Stein by Le Corbusier in 1926. Despite the different styles, both villas are conceived as single blocks with elements of the symmetry principle, and a very similar design standard that sets the foundation of both buildings.
